Brian Gregory is a passionate and unapologetic advocate for the rights of the accused. Having been introduced to the profession by veterans of the San Francisco Public Defender’s Office, Mr. Gregory’s singular focus is using criminal defense practice as a weapon to fight against injustice and government abuse.
An alumnus of the University of California at Berkeley, Mr. Gregory earned his Juris Doctor at the University of San Francisco School of Law. While still a student, Mr. Gregory successfully represented indigent defendants as a member of the USF Criminal Law Clinic, won the CALI award for the study of wrongful convictions under noted authority on police interrogation practices Professor Richard A. Leo, and was published in the USF Law Review. Mr. Gregory also served as a law clerk with both the Office of the Federal Defender for the Eastern District of California and the San Francisco Public Defender’s Office.
Mr. Gregory handles cases involving charges as diverse as homicide, violent felonies, sex crimes, white collar crimes, drug trafficking, gun crimes, and more. He has practiced in state and federal courts across the country, often traveling to remote locales to represent those who need his help the most. Mr. Gregory regularly returns to the University of San Francisco to volunteer as a judge for their first year moot court program and Advocate of the Year competition.
As a zealous Bay Area criminal defense attorney, Mr. Gregory works closely with the team of advocates at Bay Area Criminal Lawyers, PC and their dedication to clients in their pursuit for justice.
