Mrs. Hohman is a Bay Area Provisionally Licensed Lawyer from Folsom, California. She graduated in the top of her class from California State University, Sacramento in 2017 with a Bachelor of Arts in Business-Finance and a minor in Risk Management and Insurance.
In 2020, Mrs. Hohman graduated cum laude from the University of California, Hastings College of Law. While in law school, Mrs. Hohman was a staff editor, then a senior editor, for the Hastings Constitutional Law Quarterly Law Review. She also worked as a teaching assistant for a first-year Legal Research and Writing course. In her third year of law school, she was a certified law clerk in the UC Hastings Criminal Practice Clinic where she externed at the highly respected San Francisco Public Defender’s Office where she was able to exhibit her passion for criminal defense.
Mrs. Hohman is dedicated to helping indigent clients as shown by the voluminous hours of community service and pro bono work to increase access to justice, no matter the clients’ circumstances. She regularly volunteered at Glide in their daily free meals program, at Alameda County Bar Association’s Community Legal Services Program, and at San Francisco Bar Association’s Legal Advice and Referral Clinic. Mrs. Hohman received recognition for Outstanding Achievement in Pro Bono from the University of California, Hastings College of Law upon graduation for her work in these programs.
Mrs. Hohman first joined Bay Area Criminal Lawyers, PC in May of 2019 as a summer associate. Prior to joining our firm in a full-time position, her work as a summer associate, in addition to her work as a legal extern and as a volunteer, cemented her desire to become a criminal defense attorney.
Mrs. Hohman now joins Bay Area Criminal Lawyers, PC as a Provisionally Licensed Lawyer. She is looking forward to becoming a part of the Bay Area Criminal Lawyers, PC team and continuing her efforts of protecting legal rights.
