United States District Court, Northern District of California
Attorney Clint C. Christoffersen recently resolved a case in the United States District Court, Northern District of California (a federal case) involving a client charged with multiple counts including drug distribution; conspiracy to posses and distribute a controlled substance; and health care fraud. Mr. Christoffersen was able to have the sentence postponed pending client’s completion of a treatment program. The client initially failed to complete the federal treatment program. However, Mr. Christoffersen subsequently obtained a second chance for client to complete a private treatment program before sentencing, which client successfully completed. As a result, Mr. Christoffersen was able to obtain a sentence for our client of straight probation after completion of the program.
