Bay Area Criminal Lawyers, PC is pleased to announce the opening of its third office location in San Mateo County to better assist clients in the South Bay.  On January 3, 2022, we opened our doors at 333 Bradford Street, Suite 170 in Redwood City.  Our new San Mateo County office is less than a block away from the courthouse and in the heart of Redwood City’s downtown area.  Bay Area Criminal Lawyers, PC‘s Redwood City Office will be headed up by Cherie R. Wallace, senior attorney of counsel, who has worked with firm owner David J. Cohen, Esq. for over 14 years and serves as a member of the San Mateo County Private Defender Program (PDP).

Firm owner David J. Cohen, Esq., is an experienced Bay Area criminal defense attorney. He has tried over 75 federal and state criminal cases to juries, and briefed and argued more than 60 federal and state direct appeals, more than 25 habeas corpus petitions, and well over 100 writs. He has experience working with both major law firms and with the government.

Bay Area Criminal Lawyers, PC regularly handles approximately 70 to 80 criminal cases at any one time. Mr. Cohen serves as lead counsel on each case; one of the associates or of counsel are generally assigned to serve as second chair. Bay Area Criminal Lawyers, PC is comprised of firm owner David J. Cohen, Esq., and three full-time associates: Jason T. Campbell, Alexander P. Guilmartin, and Clint C. Christoffersen, one highly experienced of counsel criminal defense attorney, six administrative staff members, including an administrative supervisor,  office manager (San Francisco), administrative/legal assistant (San Francisco), and receptionist (San Francisco), as well as an experienced legal marketing and management consultant.
