Wallace, senior attorney of counsel, who has worked with firm owner David J. Cohen, Esq. for over 14 years and serves as a member of the San Mateo County Private Defender Program (PDP).

San Mateo County houses two courthouses that hear criminal matters in Redwood City (Southern Branch) and South San Francisco (Northern Branch). Though Bay Area Criminal Lawyers, PC is a San Francisco and Alameda County-based firm, we regularly handle matters out of San Mateo County Superior Court for charges originating out of Atherton, Belmont, Brisbane, Burlingame, Colma, Daly City, East Palo Alto, Foster City, Half Moon Bay, Hillsborough, Menlo Park, Millbrae, Pacifica, Portola Valley, Redwood City, San Bruno, San Carlos, San Mateo, South San Francisco, and Woodside.

Firm owner David J. Cohen, Esq., is an experienced Bay Area criminal defense attorney. He has tried over 75 federal and state criminal cases to juries, and briefed and argued more than 60 federal and state direct appeals, more than 25 habeas corpus petitions, and well over 100 writs.
