San Joaquin County Felony Strike Charges Dismissed!

Associate attorney Clint C. Christoffersen recently received an outstanding result in a matter out of San Joaquin County. Client was originally charged with three separate cases involving 2 felony strike counts of exploding a destructive device, possession of a destructive device, filing false emergency reports, and a case involving a misdemeanor vehicle code violation for exhibition of speed. If charged with the above-mentioned offenses, client faced a potentially lengthy prison sentence plus supervised court probation. However, attorney Clint C. Christoffersen successfully argued motions under California Penal Code section 745 which prohibits selective prosecution based on Race, Ethnicity, or National Origin in Violation of Equal Protection.  Attorney Clint C. Christofferson was able to have two of the three cases DISMISSED, including the two strike counts. Client was ultimately sentenced to a misdemeanor Health & Safety code violation of section 12671: Use of an unauthorized firework. Client received no custody time and 1 year of supervised court probation.
